Olathe - Mass of Christian burial for Peter Thomas Niosi, 50, Spring Hill, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Olathe. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence.Mr. Niosi died Saturday, April 23, 2005, at Olathe Medical Center.He was born Sept. 16, 1954, in Jersey City, N.J., the son of Joseph A. Niosi and Ruth Reily. He was raised in New Jersey and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Kansas University. He graduated from KU Law School in 1986.Mr. Niosi practiced law and became a partner at Blackwell Sanders in Kansas City, Mo., and practiced law with Horn Aylward and Bandy. He had worked for Preferred Physicians Medical for the past three years. He was a member of the Missouri Bar Assn.He married Diane Olmsted on July 20, 1996, in Las Vegas. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include a son, Tindaro, Olathe; two daughters, Nicoletta Niosi, Lawrence, and Natalie Niosi, of the home; a brother, Joseph A., New York; and two sisters, Ruth Bernardo, New Jersey, and Carol Bernard, New York.The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.A rosary will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.The family suggest memorials to the Ursuline Sisters or the Natalie Niosi Educational Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.Online condolences may be sent at www.rumsey-yost.com.
