Ottawa - Graveside services for Antonio M. Godinez, 58, Ottawa, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Ottawa.Mr. Godinez died Sunday, April 17, 2005, at his home.He was born May 22, 1946, in Ottawa, the son of Delores and Lucia Martinez Godinez. He was a lifelong Ottawa resident.Mr. Godinez was a trackman for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ottawa and the local union for Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees.He married Joy C. Ward in 1971. They divorced. He married Heidie Nelson on Dec. 23, 1989. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include five sons, Angelo Godinez, Lawrence, Domingo Godinez, De Soto, Rico Godinez and Jeremy Ward, both of Ottawa, and Justin Nelson, Pomona; two daughters, Angelina Godinez and Julie Setters, both of Ottawa; a brother, Jermone Godinez, Lawrence; a sister, Kathy Carpenter, Omaha, Neb.; and eight grandchildren.Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Dengel and Son Mortuary in Ottawa, where a rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday.E-mail condolences may be sent to dengelmortuary@sbcglobal.net.
