Joel Benjamin Morris 1969 - 2009 Lawrence
A memorial service for Joel Benjamin Morris, 39, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mission.
Mr. Morris died Monday, March 23, 2009.
He was born Sept. 5, 1969, in Hutchinson, the son of Royce L. “Lonnie” Morris and Susan B. Rozelle.
Mr. Morris attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Mission, where he was involved in the music program.
Survivors include his father, Lonnie Morris and wife Cyndi, Ozawkie; his mother, Susan Rozelle, Arkansas City; three sisters, Sarah Kempke, Furlong, Pa., and Emily Jarboe and Abby Dickey, both of Arkansas City; seven nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Morris.
The family suggests memorials to the Baker University Vocal Music Department, P.O. Box 65, Baldwin City, KS 66006 or Trinity Lutheran Church, 5601 W. 62nd St., Mission, KS 66202.
