Massachusetts Street is shown filled with pedestrians on Saturday, March 31, 2018, as the city cleared the roadway of traffic and parked vehicles in advance of the University of Kansas basketball team's game in the Final Four.

Lawrence’s Massachusetts Street was a top winner in the 2018 Arrivalist and Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism awards announced in Topeka Wednesday.

Arrivalist, a travel technology company, has been partnering with KDWPT for the past four years tracking visitors entering Kansas after visiting KDWPT’s websites online or seeing one of their digital ads, according to a news release from KDWPT.

Attractions with the most tourist visits tracked through Arrivalist in 2018 were recognized Wednesday at a ceremony during a Kansas tourism event in the statehouse.

Along with Massachusetts Street, other winners included: the Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita for the top zoo, park or natural attraction; Ringneck Ranch in Tipton for the top farm and ranch experience; Gella’s Diner and Lb. Brewing Co. in Hays for the top brewery, distillery or winery; the Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City, Kan., for the top large or luxury hotel; and Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane for the top casino.
