The Lawrence High boys tennis team finished with a 1-2 record at the Gardner Edgerton quad on Monday — sweeping the Trailblazers and falling to both Shawnee Mission East squads.

Cooper Wright/Kanak Masten (No. 1 doubles) and Stephen Teska/Ryan Logan (No. 2 doubles) led the Lions with records of 2-1. Drew Dean and Remington Eakin respectively finished 1-2 at No. 1 and 2 singles. Lawrence upended Gardner Edgerton, 4-0, but fell to each SM East team, 1-3.

The Lions will play host to Bonner Springs at 3 today before gearing up for the Sunflower League tournament at 8 a.m. Thursday at the College Boulevard Activity Center.
