Letter to the editor: Who’s responsible?
To the editor:
I don’t understand. In this city, streets are the responsibility of everyone. So is a multimillion facility for people to drive to so they can walk on trails (and do other exercises). But allowing children to get to school safely, providing short-term transportation for people who do not or cannot drive is the responsibility of the property owner whose land they happen to cross.
