To the editor:

President Trump has cut the enrollment period for the Affordable Care Act in half, from 90 days to 45 days. Enrollment opens Nov. 1 and now closes Dec. 15, 2017, for 2018. He also cut the advertising budget for ACA enrollment by 90 percent. (You read that right.)

This is a “political dirty trick,” done in an effort to sink the ACA by attrition since he wasn’t able to get repeal through Congress. This is in defiance of the American people and is designed to harm millions by denying them health care.

I urge all of us to do what we can to disseminate this information to others, through social media platforms, letters to editors, etc. Enrollment opens Nov. 1. Enrollment closes Dec. 15. Enrollment can be done at healthcare.gov.
