Lawrence High freshman Bella Kirkwood posted a 3-1 record at No. 2 singles, leading the LHS girls tennis team to fifth in the team standings at Kossover Tennis Center in Topeka.

Kirkwood placed third at No. 2 singles, while senior Chisato Kimura was fourth in No. 1 singles with a 2-2 record.

In No. 1 doubles, Chloe Thornton and Mia Waters combined for fifth place with a 2-2 record. Caitlynn Kliem and Karenna Peterson had a 1-3 record at No. 2 doubles and took seventh.
