Letter to the editor: Peanuts mistake
To the editor:
When I was about 9 years old, I started to read Peanuts. I started with the newspaper and moved up to the comic books and then the soft-bound books. I thought Charles Schulz was the best of anyone doing cartoons. When I was about 11 I wrote a letter to him, care of the publisher. I received an 8.5 by 11 paper with a sketch of the characters signed by him. The greatest gift ever! I still have that, matted and framed, but the Journal-World has made a big mistake by dropping Peanuts from the comic page.
