Letter to the editor: Losing trust in city

To the editor:

Was it a plan, a coincidence or collusion: as the elections for city commissioners and the renewal of the city’s sales taxes were concluding, the city comes forward and says that it is not very good at handling the money that its citizens have ponied up. Anyone wonder how the rest of the city’s departments would fair under a complete and thorough audit?

Trust in the city to do its job faithfully and efficiently is sometimes a hard commodity to come by these days.
