Letter to the editor: Great hire
To the editor:
Congratulations to the University of Kansas for having the good sense to appoint professor J. Christopher Brown as our new vice provost of faculty development. It has been my great pleasure to observe the progress of this person, as he metamorphasized from the bright-eyed 18-year-old freshman I initially encountered into the brilliant, capablescholar that he has become today.
In addition to his many notable accomplishments included in Sunday’s Journal-World article, I would like to say that Chris was, without any doubt, the finest bass clarinet player I ever had in my band at KU!
