Lawrence High senior offensive lineman Kobe Buffalomeat announced his commitment to play college football at Illinois State on Sunday evening.

Buffalomeat, a 6-foot-7, 282-pound offensive tackle, earned first-team all-Sunflower League honors last season, helping the Lions to a 6-4 record.

Former LHS lineman Trey Georgie is a freshman at Illinois State and redshirted this past season.
