Letter to the editor: Forgiveness for abused
To the editor:
I believe in forgiveness and in giving people second chances, so I don’t have a problem with President Obama commuting the sentences of 330 nonviolent drug offenders. I do, however, wonder when battered women who kill their abusers will be given equal consideration.
