Former Free State High standout swimmer Courtney Caldwell took second place in the 100 freestyle at the ACC Championships last weekend in Atlanta.

A sophomore swimmer for North Carolina State, Caldwell tied for third in the 50 freestyle and was fourth in the 100 backstroke.

She also helped the Wolfpack win in three relays — breaking conference records in the 400 free relay and 200 free relay.
