The Lawrence Police Department is reporting a person was injured Saturday in a shooting in west Lawrence.

Sgt. Mark Unruh of the Lawrence Police Department said the incident occurred about 4:45 p.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of West Sixth Street. Unruh said a person was injured in the shooting, but he had no other information on the incident, which remains under investigation.
