Pushed back twice because of weather, Free State High’s girls soccer team finally matched up against third-ranked Olathe East and lost, 1-0, in overtime on Wednesday at FSHS.

Olathe East (10-4-1) junior Jill Nicholson scored the golden goal in overtime.

The Firebirds (4-8-2) will continue their stretch of four games in four days by hosting Topeka Hayden at 5 p.m. today.
