Lawrence High senior wrestler Alan Clothier won his match in the Metro Classic all-star wrestling dual Tuesday at Kansas City Kansas Community College.

Clothier, who won a Class 6A state title at 182 pounds, beat Smithville (Mo.) senior Luke Sachs by a 5-1 decision.

The event matches up the top senior wrestlers from Kansas against the best from Missouri.
