Letter to the editor: Thanks to staff
To the editor:
I am so sad that about 32 Journal-World staffers will be laid off in the paper’s transition to new owners. I have read the Journal-World since 1989, and it presents local information that is absolutely vital to me.
The paper has super sports writers, great photographers and tons of interesting local news, and I plan my shopping according to its timely ads. It represents the heartland of America. I wish that more Journal-World staff were being retained. Thanks for a great paper, and good luck to the staff who are leaving. The paper won’t be the same without you.
