LHS boys tennis stops Bonner Springs
Lawrence High’s boys tennis team scored a 7-2 victory over Bonner Springs in a dual meet Tuesday at LHS.
The Lions went 5-1 in singles and 2-1 in doubles.
“I had some of the JV guys move up to varsity,” LHS coach Chris Marshall said. “Graham Edmonds played some really good tennis and scored us a point for us. I was very impresed with Zach Bowie. He played some really strong tennis.”
The Lions will host Topeka West, Washburn Rural and Topeka Seaman for a quadrangular at 3 p.m. today at Rock Chalk Park.
