Letter: Impressive tour
To the editor:
We would like to thank the participating staff of Fire Station No. 1 and those from other stations for the very interesting and informative tour on Saturday. The personnel we talked to were so friendly, courteous, and respectful that we hated to leave when the open house ended. The equipment was impressive, especially the huge fire engines.
We’re glad to have such top-notch protection in our community. Like I told several staff members, firefighters, paramedics and law enforcement officers are my heroes. Thanks so much to all of you for your dedication!
