Letter: Roundabouts
To the editor:
Has anyone else noticed that the city transit buses cannot safely navigate around the Wakarusa roundabout when another car is beside them? The circular lanes aren’t wide enough. The buses have to come to a complete stop in the middle of the circle and wait for traffic in the adjoining lane to clear before they can make a right turn. Otherwise, they’ll have to go over the curb.
Are we seriously considering building more of these ghastly things?
