Letter: Ice rink is a joke
To the editor:
Our new ice skating rink is a farce or a joke, a waste of time and money. My grandchildren who came from the east coast and all know how to skate well, but they were frustrated trying to skate on this plastic rink. It does not work well. The “push off” was wrong.
When I first saw people trying to skate on it from the library window, I just thought they were all beginners just trying to skate. After my family, who know how to ice skate, came home and complained about this rink and I knew that they could skate, I realized that it was the poor choice of buying this rink. The parking garage and library are great, however.
