Letter: Neutral site?
To the editor:
After watching all the press about the court-storming incident in Manhattan, I was curious if there was ever an option to move the game to another location? Would it be safer to hold the game at, for instance, the Expocenter in Topeka? It would be a neutral site and maybe even safer.
I realize it would probably cost both schools extra to make this move, but if safety is the issue. Maybe a hard decision needs to be made.
To make it fair, probably both games would need to be held at the Expocenter, not one at KU and one at the Expocenter, but both at the Expocenter.
Love those rivalries as long as civilized behavior is enforced.
