Letter: Police needs
To the editor:
The recent Town Talk article reported that police are asking for $24,000 to increase and move evidence storage to the west facility. They are apparently going to use the vast unused space in the west facility now.
This was one of my main issues about the new proposed facility: Half of the west facility building sits vacant and unused and yet they want to build a new facility. Police department leaders continue to say this building is not designed to meet their needs, and yet it has done just that for over 15 years.
