Ex-Senate hopeful says Kansas board has ended investigation

? Former U.S. Senate candidate and Dr. Milton Wolf says Kansas’ medical board has dropped an investigation of him after finding he committed no wrongdoing.

Wolf, one of his attorneys and a former campaign staffer issued email statements Monday saying that the Board of Healing Arts had closed an investigation started last year.

The medical board’s investigation centered on Wolf’s postings of X-ray images of fatal gunshot wounds on a personal Facebook page in 2010.

Wolf is a Leawood radiologist who had tea party backing in challenging U.S. Sen. Pat Roberts in last year’s Republican primary. Roberts won the four-candidate race with 48 percent of the vote. Wolf received nearly 41 percent.

The board’s executive director did not immediately return telephone and email messages.
