Letter: Bill’s impact

To the editor:

I wonder if the geniuses in our Kansas Legislature have any idea of the full  impact of Senate Bill 175?  As you recall, that bill will require that Kansas taxpayers subsidize with their tax dollars any student organization on a publicly funded campus that discriminates, so long as that discrimination is part of a firmly-held religious belief.

Swell.

This of course means that ISIS or al-Qaida or the American Nazi Party can open student institutions  on the Kansas University or Kansas State University campus and these groups must then be financially subsidized by Kansas taxpayers. Please don’t tell me that those folks do not have firmly held religious beliefs.

Death to America. How is that going to work for you, Sam?
