Letter: Where is the anger?

To the editor:

The state of Indiana started a firestorm of opinion against the recently passed and signed law giving “religious freedom” to Indiana residents. The law said nothing about  preventing discrimination against the LGBT community by the omission of language preventing such discrimination. The governor has found himself in a very bad spot due to the considerable disdain and disgust of this codification of discrimination by “religious” folks.

Gov. Brownback of Kansas did the very same thing by dissolving similar policy of former governor Sebelius, a Democrat. So where is the anger, Kansas? Do we stand by and allow this public official to invite similar situations in Kansas? Are we as accepting of this bigoted attitude?  Do we allow “religious” opinions in Kansas the free rein to exercise discrimination against the LGBT community in our state?
