Lawrence High’s boys soccer fell to 2-2-1 on the season following a 2-0 loss to Manhattan on Saturday at LHS.

Manhattan took a 1-0 lead midway through the first half and added an insurance goal 10 minutes into the second.

LHS coach Mike Murphy said the Lions had a few opportunities in the first half, but they were unable to capitalize on them.

“Once they got ahead,” Murphy said, “they could kind of sit back in.”
