Police are looking for two suspects in an attempted aggravated robbery reported in Lawrence on Saturday.

At around 6 p.m., a 29-year-old male reported to police that he was taking a nap in the bushes by the South Park wading pool when he was awaken by the feeling of someone pulling on his backpack, according to Lawrence police Sgt. Ted Dordman.

The man reported that he woke up to see a white male and a black male — both believed to be in their 30s — walking away. He also said he received a laceration to his hand but refused medical treatment. No property was reported to be taken.

The victim told police that the white male was wearing a white tank top and white shorts and the black male was dressed in a grey tank top and white shorts.
