Letter: Ban lifted
To the editor:
The ban on gay marriage in the state of Kansas has been lifted by the U.S. Supreme Court! Equal protection for all LGBTs to marry will soon be the law of the U.S. My partner of 20 years, Thomas Tuozzo, professor, department of philosophy, Kansas University, and I will soon been married. Finally released from Kansas’ shackles of hatred and bigotry; let human rights and freedom ring!
Congratulations to all the LGBT couples in the state of Kansas! Exercise your rights, let the marriages begin.
