Letter: Trade-off

To the editor:

If equipment for established rec centers is breaking down, and replacements had to be “deferred” because of lower-than-expected revenues, why don’t the powers-that-be refurbish some of that old equipment and put it in the new rec center and take some of that brand new shiny equipment that we all know they’re buying and distribute it among the established facilities? Those near the new park get the new facility, those who have no other options than to use city facilities get some better equipment.
