Lawrence High wrestling coaches Gus Andrews and Josh Hanson were selected as the Class 6A Assistant Coaches of the Year by the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association.

Both coaches will be honored at the KWCA coaches clinic banquet in November.

Andrews and Hanson helped the Lions to a 10th-place finish at the state tournament while sophomore, Alan Clothier (182-pound weight class) and senior Alex Jones (285) won state titles.
