Cleveland’s Wiggins spins, slams at summer league

Former Kansas University guard Andrew Wiggins converted a huge dunk off a spin move on his way to 10 points in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 86-77 win over Philadelphia, Monday in Las Vegas summer-league action.

He hit four of eight shots (0-for-1 from three) and two of three free throws. Wiggins had one assist, four turnovers, three steals, three rebounds and two blocks in 28 minutes.

Former KU guard Ben McLemore scored 18 points with six rebounds, five turnovers and no assists in Sacramento’s 89-75 win over the D-League Select Team.

Former KU center Jeff Withey scored two points with six rebounds and three blocks in New Orleans’ 88-86 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. He played 23 minutes.
