Erinn Barcomb-Peterson

A Kansas University graduate has been named as the director of news and media relations at KU.

Erinn Barcomb-Peterson will succeed David Martin, who had been in the role on an interim basis after the departure of Jill Jess Phythyon, who left in March for a job with the College of Nursing at Ohio State University.

Barcomb-Peterson holds a journalism degree from KU, and had served as director of news and editorial services at Kansas State University.

Prior to starting at K-State in 2005, she had worked as a design editor at the Ottawa Herald and as a reporter for the Eudora News.
