Doha, Qatar ? Lawrence High alumna Emma Reaney capped her international debut with a 14th-place finish in the 200-meter breaststroke, Sunday at the FINA Short Course World Championships.

Reaney’s time of 2:21.58 did not qualify her for the final heat, but she said her overall experience at the short course world championships was nothing but positive.

“I had a lot of fun,” Reaney said.
