Former Kansas University basketball guard Conner Frankamp has decided to transfer to Wichita State, Frankamp confirmed in a text message today.

The Wichita sophomore, who is finishing the semester out at Kansas, played one season at KU before leaving the team in October. He averaged 8.5 minutes and 2.5 points per game in 27 appearances during the 2013-14 season.

Frankamp announced before the start of the 2014-15 season that he would leave Kansas to pursue a bigger role.

Frankamp also visited Colorado and Creighton. He will enroll at WSU in time for the second semester and be eligible after the first semester of next school year.
