To the editor:
The tribute paid to Larry Martin in Wednesday’s edition was much deserved but it failed to mention that not only did Larry have access to one of the world’s largest collections of dinosaur skeletons but he also had a marvelous vision for a museum to be built here in Lawrence to house and display them as an outstanding visitor attraction located right here near Interstate 70, an economic plus for our community. Sadly, he was never able to convince funding sources to see that vision. It would be a great tribute to him if some entity would bring that idea to a reality.

Great idea that might actually be a draw. Unless the city leaders can find a way for their cronies to benefit, it'll never happen. Feel free to finance this without raising my property taxes or water bill.
