Letter: Bond support
To the editor:
My vote goes in favor of the bond issue. I see many positives in favor of it, most of all the reinforcing of the neighborhood school model. When we moved here in 1962, one of the best things my wife and I saw that ultimately convinced us to stay here was the fact that our kids could walk to school most of the time (except, of course, when they overslept or had a zero-hour rehearsal!). Add to that the many improvements that are included in the package, with no direct increase in property tax and it’s a no-brainer in my not-normally-humble opinion.
