Candidates for Lawrence school board and City Commission will participate in public forums sponsored by the local Voter Education Coalition on Wednesday evening in the City Commission chambers at Lawrence City Hall, 6 E. Sixth St.

The school board forum will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the City Commission forum at 7:30 p.m. Both forums will be telecast live on the the city’s Channel 25 on the Knology Broadband system.

Some questions for the forums will be prepared in advance by VEC partners and others will be taken from the audience at City Hall. The public is invited to attend.
