FSHS boys 6th at state bowling

? Free State had one individual medalist and placed sixth in the boys team standings, and Lawrence High had two individual medalists at the Class 6A state bowling meet on Friday at North Rock Lanes. For Free State, Eric Goglau had a 626 series (186-204-236) to place 19th. The top 20 individuals earned medals.

Olathe North won the boys title with 2674 pins and was followed by Haysville Campus (2631), Garden City (2588), Olathe South (2524), Wichita Southeast (2511) and Free State (2463).

Lawrence High’s Connor Daniel was the top city placer: fifth, with a 680 series (179-222-279). His 279 tied for high-game honors.

The Lions’ Tre Sexton placed 49th with 156-194-209–559.

On the girls side, the Lions’ Kierstan Warren placed 14th with 164-245-184–593, and Miranda Krom was 45th with 150-211-121–482.
