Shawnee ? Recent Free State grad A’Liyah Rogers and her Kansas all-star team defeated Missouri, 8-3 and 4-0, in Monday’s 12th annual MO-KAN All Star game at the Shawnee Mission School District Softball Complex.

Rogers, a Bradley University signee, pinch-ran in the fifth inning of the opener and scored a run after stealing third.

Batting second in the second and clinching game and playing shortstop, Rogers went 1-for-3 with a walk.

Kansas extended its series lead to 8-5.
