Public invited to see building constructed by KU architecture students
The newest building designed and constructed by the Kansas University Studio 804 architecture class will be on display at an open house Saturday.
Graduate students in KU’s School of Architecture, Design and Planning design and construct a building each year in the Studio 804 course. This year, they’ve built the Hill Engineering Research and Development Center, located on the KU West Campus.
It will serve as headquarters for the KU EcoHawks, a student research program in the KU School of Engineering.
The public is invited to see the building during an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
