A pedestrian was struck by a car about 10:15 p.m. Thursday.

A car traveling westbound on Ninth Street clipped the man with the mirror of the vehicle just west of the intersection of Ninth and Ohio streets.

The man was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital by Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical.
