Three men arrested for robbery in connection with theft of drugs, electronics, from Lawrence home

Two Lawrence men and a Perry man were arrested Thursday on suspicion of aggravated robbery and other crimes in connection with a Monday incident at an apartment in the 1700 block of West 24th Street.

Lawrence police arrested Robert Lee Coleman, 19, of Lawrence, in the 400 block of Maine Street, while Quentin Marcel Hill, 18, of Lawrence and Charles T. Brockman, 25, of Perry, were arrested at the Lawrence Police Department’s offices in the 4800 block of Bob Billings Parkway.

All three were booked into the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping, and conspiracy to commit aggravated kidnapping. Brockman is also suspected of aggravated battery, according to jail officials.

The three were arrested in connection with a robbery at a Lawrence apartment where suspects used a handgun to steal $260 in cash, a television, a Playstation gaming system, and a jar containing six grams of marijuana, according to police reports.

The three remain held without bond in Douglas County Jail.
