KU Computer Center to be named after former professor

? Kansas University is naming its Computer Center building in honor of longtime math professor G. Baley Price.

Price was responsible for the purchase of the first computer at KU in 1956. He retired in 1975 and died in 2006 at the age of 101.

KU Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little proposed the naming Wednesday and it was approved by the Kansas Board of Regents.
