Emporia ? Junior Alexis Czapinski went 3-0 in singles play and finished first as the Free State tennis team placed second on Saturday at the Emporia Invitational.

Senior Emily Sadosky and freshman Caitlin Dodd led the Firebirds in doubles with a 1-2 finish for fourth place.

FSHS will take on Lawrence on Tuesday at LHS.
