The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man who died in a single-vehicle accident last weekend as Brian W. Corum, 43, Ozawkie.

About 3 a.m. Sunday, emergency crews responded to a report of vehicle on fire at the intersection of Quail Hill Road and Valley View Road, in the Lake Shores Estates Improvement District in Ozawkie. The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle died as a result of the accident, which was west of Perry Lake, said Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Herrig. Corum was identifed through dental records.
