Not frivolous?

To the editor:

The Journal-World’s criterion that letters to the Public Forum should avoid name-calling is a tough one to meet when considering the actions of Secretary of State Kris Kobach, Attorney General Derek Schmidt, and Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer on the State Objections Board. Their statement Thursday that they need more information before deciding whether to remove President Obama’s name from the state’s November ballot is insulting to anyone with an IQ above zero. Kobach’s statement that he doesn’t think Joe Montgomery’s objection to having the president’s name on the ballot is “frivolous” may be correct. After all, calling Montgomery’s claims frivolous would be unreasonably generous.
