• 11 a.m. Holiday Shofar Blowing followed by Festive Holiday Lunch
• 3 p.m. Tashlich Prayer at the water at Potter Lake
Tuesday Sept. 18th:
• 9:30 a.m. morning services
• 11 a.m. Holiday Shofar Blowing at 11:00 a.m. followed by Festive Holiday Lunch
Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement)
Tuesday Sept. 25
• 6:45 p.m. evening services
Wednesday Sept. 26th
• 9:30 a.m. morning services
• 6:30 p.m. Ne’ila (Closing Service)/Final Shofar Blast/ Buffet “Break-Fast
The Chabad Center for Jewish Life will be providing Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur services at the Kansas Union for members of the Lawrence community.
Rosh Hashana will begin this year after sundown on Sunday and will last until sundown of Sept. 18. Yom Kippur will begin after sundown Sept. 25 and extend for 24 hours.
According to a news release from the Chabad Center, the services will be “user-friendly” and “enjoyable and meaningful for both beginner and advanced.”
