Girls’ Night Downtown to benefit Lawrence Habitat for Humanity program
Downtown Lawrence Inc.’s annual Girls’ Night Downtown event will this year benefit Lawrence Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program.
The event is from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. For $20, participants get 20 percent off purchases in stores and restaurants downtown. Each participating location has its own party. Tickets can be purchased in advance at http://bit.ly/GNDowntown.
The Women Build program recruits women and girls to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit that helps build homes for families in need.
